Talented employees who speak multiple languages often lack confidence because they feel hindered by their accents. This seminar translates theory into specific, practical tools and skills for gaining control over language accents.
Accent Reduction focuses on correct production of the sounds of American English. The instructor will work with participants to identify and eliminate problem consonants and vowels as well as nonnative rhythm, stress, and intonation patterns.
By the end of Day One, participants will have determined their pronunciation goals and strategies for accent reduction.
The second session will take place approximately 30 days later. This session will feature individual follow-up conferences with the instructor to assess progress. Participants will determine further accent-modification goals.
