Writing Across Cultures

E-mail has resulted in requiring local national employees at foreign overseas sites suddenly to become global communicators. Yes, they learned English in school, but it can be tough to make their points clear to their American colleagues.

This three-day seminar is designed for international employees who speak English as a second language with affiliates and their colleagues in the United States.

During the two full-day sessions, participants learn principles for up-to-date business writing: how to organize and communicate in a clear, concise style. Individual and small-group exercises provide practice in writing precise and persuasive English.

On the third day, participants meet individually with an instructor for in-depth feedback on their documents, identifying strengths and areas for development.

NOTE: This seminar can be combined with Presenting Across Cultures in a complete five-day package.
